There are several places around campus where you can go for
a quick bike fix. These stations mostly include bike stands,
pumps, and a variety of tools that might help to get your bike
back together and back back on the road.
There are a variety of stations where you can stop on the IU campus
and do some quick maintenance to get going again.
Tulip Tree Apartments. Use this one if you just crossed the bypass
on 10th Street. Tulip Tree is the first building on the right as you
come in, so leave the trail for the first road and head north to the
far side of the building.
Briscoe Quad is just south of the athletic complex on Fee Lane. Fee has
a nice multi-use path from the bypass down almost to 17th. If you're coming
into campus from that direction, cross 17th and look for the bike lockers on the right.
If you need a repair in the middle of campus, head north on Fee Lane and take
the first right into the business school / School of Public and Environmental
Affairs parking lot. It's only right that SPEA has a large bike parking area,
and this pump and stand are next to it. A bit overgrown when I took this picture.
If you're outside the IMU and need a little
air, this pump is available on the northeast corner of 7th and Woodlawn, across from
Ernie Pyle Hall.
The final three stations are in the Ballantine Bike Hub (accessible only to Indiana University
faculty, staff, and students), Spruce Hall, and Wells Library.
